About Me:

Hello, I’m Monique, and I’m so glad you’re here!

I create + design because I truly love it. Home for me is a place of peace and relaxation, and I want it to FEEL like a place I want to be. I try to emulate the same feeling for my clients. I truly care about each one, and many of them have become very good friends.

I have a degree in Community Health Education from Portland State University, and a Certificate in Interior Design from The New York Institute of Art + Design. I ended up working in the Human Resources field for several years before I went to design school. No two clients are alike, but my general process remains the same. I’m there every step of the way to guide you through from start-to-finish, no matter how small or large your project may be.

I’ve been married to my husband Matt since 2007, we have two sweet girls and a wonderful furry child, who is definitely the most spoiled of all of them. I’m a PNW native and although not a big fan of the rain, I do love all of the green and the wondrous landscape. I’m an avid reader, and love sharing book recommendations. You can generally find me snacking on Trader Joe’s snacks at any point throughout the day and finding ways to be cozy.
